Cleaning Instructions

We advise that all machines are Cleaned, Sanitised & Rinsed through every day.
This is a quick and easy process which takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

All Machines must be cleaned thoroughly prior to first use.

Procedure

  • Ensure the power is turned OFF

  • Insert the beater(s) into the freezing chamber(s). Twist to lock into place

  • In the hopper, Slide two O-rings on the end of the feed tube. Insert the feed tube into the feed hole in the bottom of the hopper

  • Ensure the hole at the base of the feed tube is open, and big enough to allow the mix flow into the freezing chamber. Twist the outer tube to adjust the hole size.

  • To assemble the freezer door;
Single Machine - Slide the two O-rings into the grooves on the draw valve, and lubricate to prevent leaks and allow easy movement.
Triple Machine - Slide the two O-rings into the grooves on each side draw valve. Slide the H-ring and o-ring into the grooves of the center draw valve. Lubricate the H-ring and O-rings.

  • Insert the draw valve from the top to bottom.

  • Slide the fork of the draw handle into the slot of the draw valve(s).

  • Slide the pivot pin through the draw handle(s)

  • Place the large door seal(s) into the groove(s) on the back of the freezer door and lubricate to prevent any leaks from the chamber.

  • Screw star cap on to the nozzle

  • Install the freezer door to the freezing chamber. Equally tighten the four Stainless Steel Handscrews. HAND TIGHTEN only. Do not over-tighten, this may crack the Freezer Door

  • Install the front drip tray under the door spouts.

2. Rinsing with Clean Water

  • Turn The Power On

  • The machine will display 0.0

  • Pour clean water into the hopper.

  • Press the “WASH” button, allowing the water to churn.

  • Pull the Handle(s) to draw off the water, then press “WASH” to stop.

  • Repeat above steps until water runs clear.

3. cleaning

  • Press the “WASH” button, allowing the solution to churn.

  • Pull the Handle(s) to draw off the solution, then press “WASH” to stop.

4. Internal Cleaning

  • Once the machine has been rinsed out, cleaned and emptied of water TURN OFF THE MACHINE AT THE PLUG.

  • Unscrew the 4 stud nuts on the freezer door.

  • Take out the internal beater and clean the inside of the freezing chamber.

  • Take out the feed tube from inside the hopper, disconnect the quick release air pipe, and separate into 3 parts.

  • Dismantle the Freezer Door by taking out the horizontal bar, removing the Handle, Draw Valve(s) & Star Nozzle Cap (If Single Machine).

  • Wash these parts, along with the beater, feed tube, and seals in a bowl with warm soapy water then rinse.

  • When re-assembling the freezer door, ensure the seal is on the Draw Valve, then lubricate.

  • Replace the lubricated Draw Valve in the Freezer door, insert the handle, horizontal bar & Star Nozzle.

  • Lubricate the large O ring, replace the beater, and HAND TIGHTEN the 4 Stud Nuts. Do not over-tighten, this may crack the Freezer Door.

  • The machine is now internally cleaned.

5. Sanitising

  • Turn the Power Back On, the machine will display 0.0.

  • Prepare an approved sanitising solution.

  • In your Starter Pack you will receive a tub of Sanitising Tablets. Use 1 Tablet in 5L of warm water (Other Products are available; Liquid Solution, Powder, Sachets.....etc).

7. set-up procedure

  • Pour in the Ice Cream Mix. Initially pour 1L directly in to the freezing chamber(s).

  • Insert the Feed Tube into the Hopper(s), and pour in a 2nd Litre of ice cream to fill the chamber. The freezing chamber(s) is 2L and must be kept full at all times when in use.

  • Ensure the hole at the base of the feed tube is open, and big enough to allow the mix flow into the freezing chamber. Twist the outer tube to adjust the hole size.

  • Pull of a small amount of mix to ensure there is no water left inside the freezing chamber or nozzle. This prevents the nozzles becoming blocked when the water freezes solid.

  • Press UP/DOWN to set the hardness/consistency to 5.0 (this can be adjusted to suit your preferred product).

  • Press “AUTO” to start the freezing of the ice cream in the chamber.

  • Press “CONS” to initiate the hopper pre-cooling system. This keeps the liquid ice cream at a chilled temperature, which also speeds up the recovery time when the machine is in use.

  • After about 10 mins the machine will cut off and display 0.0, this means it has reached the Pre-Set Hardness/Consistency.

  • The ice cream is now ready to serve

8. draining machine

  • Drain off all ice cream from inside the machine.

  • Firstly, ensure “AUTO” & “CONS” functions are both turned OFF.

  • Press “WASH”. This Churns what is in the chamber but does not freeze it.

  • Pull the Handle(s) to draw off any remaining ice cream.

  • Press “WASH” to Stop the Machine.

  • The machine now requires Rinsing, Cleaning and Sanitising. See Previous Steps.
